L+A new home
Buying a house is a highly romanticized step in life. However, L+A realized that the reality of purchasing, choosing materials, and dealing with paperwork and workers is less romantic than actually dreaming of their own nest.
To reconnect with the dream, they chose to take extra care of one of the rooms in their new home. They wanted a cozy atmosphere with romantic elements that recall old farmhouses, light colors and natural inspiration.
Since they had already made a significant investment, they wished to keep the budget low and to have a smart type of interior design. Upon study of both space and light, we found a creative and practical solution that gave L+A renewed trust in the power of design.

Daylight makes a few specks of dust shine like stars. A cool breeze blows in from the large window, the curtains flutter and the night is coming closer.
The warm sunset brightens the room with soothing colors: the house evokes a slightly rustic yet timeless elegance: everything seems suspended in time.
The layout of the furnishings creates a small entryway where you find a mirror for finishing touches before going out, a drawer and a seat to be comfortable putting on your shoes.
Then the room opens brightly: boiserie and wood and textile items make it feel cozy. A few paintings and many well-framed photos put their signature on a space that already tells a story.
A comfy sofa invites you to sit and share stories; the board games are ready inside the storage pouf. A blanket draped over the cushions foretells the arrival of colder evenings.
You can hear music in the background, an elegant jazz lounge, and the fragrance of an autumn cake lingers in the air.
The whole house is glowing with the colors of the sunset. Soon there will be a party, everything has a meaning and each item communicates hospitality and intentionality. A wreath hung at the entrance welcomes those who would like to become part of the story told in this new home.
